Eric Jordan co-founded PureEdge Solutions, a spin-off from UVic. PureEdge was a venture-backed software company with over 5 million end-users including organizations such as the US SEC and the US Air Force. In July 2005, IBM acquired PureEdge Solutions and began deployment to the existing 100 million Lotus Notes users.

Mr. Jordan spent two years as an Executive-In-Residence position in the Faculty of Business at the University of Victoria. After serving as a member of the Premier’s Technology Council for four years, Eric Jordan moved to the role of President of the PTC in 2008. The PTC provides high level policy advice to the B.C. Premier on all issues related to technology, including the use of technology by the B.C. government and steps to grow B.C.’s technology industry.
