Share your regional business story with GE Canada to win an iPad!

Who says you need to be "in the city" in order to run a business? With technology making it easier than ever before to stay connected and conduct business operations, why can't small business owners, entrepreneurs and startups in remote communities remain where they are and still succeed?

If this rings true for you, GE Canada wants to hear your story. Simply visit GE Canada's blog and share the details of operating your business from a remote community and you could win one of two iPads!

GE Canada wants to know:

  • What is unique about operating your business in a remote community?
  • What is your biggest business operating challenge?
  • What is your greatest business operating success?
  • Anything else important to note.

What makes a community remote? Well, if any of the following apply to where you are, GE Canada considers it remote:

  • Limited transportation access (road, air, rail),
  • Limited access to a commercial/service hub,
  • Limited infrastructure: water, off-grid, broadband access, healthcare, schools, library, other institutions, and/or
  • A single, primary employer
