Calling clean tech companies! Apply for the SD Tech Fund

Do you have an innovative clean technology? Sustainable Development Technology Canada's (SDTC) is looking for Canadian clean tech companies to submit a Statement of Interest (SOI) by April 20, 2011 for their SD Tech Fund. The $550 million SD Tech Fund invests in late-stage development and pre-commercial demonstration of clean technologies by Canadian companies, specifically those that contribute to clean air, clean water and clean land and address climate change.

If you are interested in applying to the SD Tech Fund, the SOI is an initial application used for preliminary screening and is subject to a competitive review process by SDTC and a panel of independent experts. SOIs are evaluated on the basis of fit with SDTC's mandate, selection criteria, and the quality of technology, marketing and business capabilities. Successful SOI candidates will be notified on May 25, 2011 and be invited back to submit a full proposal for deeper evaluation.

For more information and to apply, visit the SDTC website or contact Applications Managers David Minicola (613.234.6313 ext. 310 or d.minicola@sdtc.ca) or Rob Barkwell (613.234.6313 ext. 349 or r.barkwell@sdtc.ca).
