Andrew Scott has been CEO of Digital Payment Technologies (DPT) since 2005. Andrew is a seasoned business/community leader with a record of over 30 years delivering results in a wide range of senior business roles. For 15 years he worked as an investment banker/business builder at CIBC Wood Gundy Securities, with ten years as the leader of regional investment banking offices. For three years, he was a senior executive with the Loewen Group, one of North America’s most aggressive acquisition companies with assets of $5 billion US and 17,000 employees. Prior to joining DPT, Andrew spent seven years managing, advising and financing small and medium sized technology business and a start up venture capital fund.

In 2007, DPT was selected as the BCTIA’s Emerging Company of the year, and included in the Profit 100 (3 years), Deloitte Fast 50 (2 years) and Fast 500 lists (2 years). In 2008, DPT was included in the Ready 2 Rocket list of 25 companies.
Andrew was Captain of Shaughnessy Golf Club the year it hosted the Canadian Open. He presently sits on the Board of Directors of the Vancouver Board of Trade and Chairs the Board’s Community Affairs Committee.
